Sea Shepherd: Grindadrap on the Faroe Islands

Marine conservation – a passion that drives me.

The love for the sea is boundless. It's all the more incomprehensible to me how disrespectfully our world is sometimes treated. When I had the opportunity to travel to the Faroe Islands as a volunteer camerawoman for Sea Shepherd, I didn't have to think twice – it was a dream come true.

I traveled there naively, but the first grindadrap hit me deeply. Together with Sea Shepherd, we produced a short documentary about these experiences. In the video, I not only narrate, but also actively participated as a camerawoman.
