Corals provide a wide range of benefits to the ecosystem. Coral reefs are by far the most species-rich and productive marine structures and provide the perfect habitat for a quarter of all plant and animal species in the sea. Unfortunately, corals are suffering greatly from climate change. Bomb fishing, for example, has also claimed the lives of countless corals in Indonesia. I was able to accompany Metamorphosa in their work at Sumberkima Hill.
